What is Bark Twice?
Bark Twice shows Shopify brands how AI shopping agents see them: what agents say about their products, how they rate them, where they rank them, and how they compare with every other seller in the same searches. Each report ends with fixes, and tracking repeats the reading every day.
What is agent visibility?
Shoppers increasingly ask an AI agent what to buy, and agents increasingly buy for them. An agent searches a product catalog, reads the first few results and recommends one. Agent visibility is whether your products are among those few. It's the agent-shopping counterpart of ranking in search engines, sometimes called generative engine optimization (GEO).
How is this different from SEO?
SEO is about where your pages rank on a search engine results page. Shopping agents don't read results pages: they search a product catalog and work from your product data, ratings and summaries. A brand can rank well on Google and still be invisible to an agent.
Where does the data come from?
From shop.dev, the product catalog AI shopping agents search, read live for every report. We measure what agents receive from the catalog, not what a particular assistant finally says.
Does every shopper see the same results?
No. When a shopper is signed in with Shop, results are ranked by their preferences and shopping history. Signed-out results are the same for everyone, so that's what we measure: the baseline every shopper starts from. Personal ranking can only match a shopper to your products if your listings say enough about them, which is why every report checks your product data.
Does it work for any store?
It works for Shopify stores. We check that your domain is a Shopify store before you pay.
How much does it cost?
$99 per brand for its first report, which includes a month of daily tracking. After that, tracking is $10/month per brand. Every brand you add is priced the same.
How do I cancel?
Open your dashboard and click Billing. Stripe's billing page lets you cancel, change your card or download invoices. Daily readings stop when the subscription ends.
Will my report show my competitors?
No. Your report is about your brand alone. You see your rank among every seller in your searches and your share of agent attention, but never who the other sellers are.
Who can see my report?
Only people with your dashboard link. Reports aren't listed anywhere and are kept out of search engines.
What is the Agent score?
A score from 0 to 100 for how well agents can find and recommend your brand. Topic searches count for 45%, ratings and reviews for 20%, product data completeness for 20%, and searches for your name for 15%.
Do you use AI?
Yes, in two places: to propose the searches a shopper would type to find products like yours, and to write the edits to your listings. Everything else is measured: every search is run against the catalog agents use, and every edit is based only on what your listing already says, with anything it can't know left for you to fill in.
Can you guarantee a higher ranking?
No one can promise how agents will rank you. Every fix we suggest comes from something we measured, and tracking shows you whether it worked.
Why is it called Bark Twice?
From the movie Anchorman, where Ron Burgundy, looking for his lost dog, asks: "Baxter, bark twice if you're in Milwaukee." A brand agents can't find is Baxter: out there somewhere, unable to be heard. Bark Twice helps it bark twice.
